Janey is obliged to take on a 'job' looking after her two very spoilt grandchildren for her daughter Allegra. What's worse, both her adult children seem to side with Kevin. And Felix has problems too. His love life is soon shattered and his career is over before it has begun.

But these two have one great strength - their friendship with each other. Follow this odd couple as they help each other through their tribulations in a epistolary correspondence that is by times fiery, funny but never ever dull.
